The lychgate spans the entrance to St Bartholomew's churchyard.
It offers the best view of the southern flank of Wilmslow Parish Church.
There has been a church on this site since the 13th century, though
most of today's building dates from the rebuilding between 1517-1537.
Wilmslow is in the Diocese of Chester in NW England.
